Week in Review: Early voting starts on redistricting, W-JCC school board approves $220 million budget; Pentagon bars W&M

Friday, March 6:
Early voting for Virginia’s April 21 statewide constitutional amendment referendum began Friday, giving voters in the Historic Triangle six weeks to cast ballots before election day.
Thursday, March 5:
Williamsburg-James City County schools will be holding community forums in May to walk residents through the planned redistricting of local schools.
Wednesday, March 4:
The Williamsburg-James City County school board approved moving forward with a $220 million budget Monday. And it will ask local taxpayers for an extra $1.225 million to fund some optional programs like lacrosse.
Tuesday, March 3:
The Pentagon has cancelled its senior service college program at William & Mary, along with 12 other universities it accused of woke policies.
Monday, March 2:
By the middle of this month, Williamsburg’s finest will transition to a state-of-the-art new police headquarters building offering high tech and convenience.
