William & Mary will hold a public hearing next month on its plans to raise undergraduate tuition and fees for the next two years.

A release from the university stated the Board of Visitors is modeling undergraduate tuition increases of up to 3.5%, and mandatory fee increases of up to 4%, for the 2026-2028 academic years.

“The university’s goal is to provide predictability by setting tuition and fee levels for a two-year period while minimizing increases,” the statement announced.

The public hearing will be held April 22 from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. in Room 302 of Blow Hall and will provide an opportunity for public comment. The Board of Visitors will vote on its decision Friday, April 24.

Increases will pay for compensation increases mandated by the state and Board-approved capital investments, the university statement added.

In addition to participating in-person at the public hearing, members of the public can comment via an online form, which will be available through April 22, 2026.
