The James City County mother of three pleaded guilty to two counts of computer solicitation of a minor and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor under the age of 15.
The charges stemmed from a police investigation that began in August 2024.
Police received a report of a possible inappropriate relationship between a 14-year-old boy and an adult woman, according to news reports.
Messages from the boy’s phone revealed texts, according to court documents, and Deaver admitted to sending “no more than 10” nude photos of herself to the boy.
Deaver also discussed plans with the boy to engage in future sexual acts and how they would meet up, stating she would have to make the first move since he wouldn’t, according to documents.
Deaver, 45 and a mother of three, was a cheerleading coach for Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools in fall 2022 and received a temporary coaching stipend, according to the school division.
